How did a business coaching firm begin offering web design? As a business coach, I help clients develop effective marketing messages and define their target market. After successfully completing their market analysis my clients begin looking for web design companies, printers, telemarketers, sign makers, etc. It seemed to be a challenge to find a web design firm that spent the time to learn what the client wants. Most firms want an hourly rate without a complete disclosure of the total costs. Other firms, want to sell things such as blogs and maintenance programs. I saw an opening in the market place to sell web designs centered around what the client wants and what they need. In 2010, I was helping a client develop their web content to provide to a web designer. My client kindly asked me to design their web site. He said, "You know more about my business than any web designer I can find." Soon I was offering web design and hosting to my clients, and to non-clients.
